This piece is a quiet invitation to behold yourself through the tender gaze of God—a reflection untouched by the storms of yesterday, as clear and radiant as sunlight dancing on still waters. It whispers of a love that sees beyond every scar, revealing the beauty and wholeness that have always been yours to claim. In embracing His view, we begin to mirror His grace and light in the world around us.

There’s something painful about looking in the mirror after deep hurt. We don’t just see ourselves—we see what’s been done to us. We see the labels that were never ours to carry… broken, unworthy, too far gone.
But here’s the truth that changes everything:God has never seen you that way. Not even once.
While your view of yourself may have been clouded by pain, His view has always been clear—like a reflection cast onto still water in the quiet of the countryside. Where we see ruin, He sees beauty. Where we see a mess, He sees His masterpiece, undistorted, calm, and full of light.
He didn’t turn away when your heart was shattered. He didn’t question your worth when others walked away. He saw you—beautiful, chosen, deeply loved.
He still does.
Even when you can’t see it, even when the mirror feels heavy with shame—He sees the version of you He created… whole, radiant, and redeemed.
You are not what happened to you. You are not the lies whispered over your soul. You are who He says you are—and He calls you Mine.
Healing begins when we stop asking the mirror who we are and start asking God.
Let Him be the one who defines you.
“You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”—Song of Songs 4:7
