You made it here on purpose...

This space wasn’t created from perfection or expertise. It was born from ashes, rebuilt with faith, and held together by love. It’s for the brokenhearted, the weary, the ones who wonder if healing is even possible. You are not forgotten. You are not too far gone. You are not alone.

About Me

Held by His Hands — My Journey from Brokenness to Healing

Welcome, friend. I’m so grateful you’re here.

My name is Ruth, and I am a survivor of abuse.

There was a time in my life when the weight of trauma felt suffocating—when pain echoed louder than hope, and darkness seemed like it might never lift. I know what it’s like to fight silent battles, to cry behind closed doors, and to wonder if healing is even possible.

I’ve carried deep wounds. I’ve walked through seasons of hopelessness and fear. But I’ve also encountered the incredible mercy and healing of God. Not all at once—and not without scars—but slowly, through His gentle, faithful love, I began to breathe again.
To dream again.
To live again.

Held By His Hands was born from that journey.

This space wasn’t created out of perfection or clinical expertise. It was born from ashes—rebuilt with faith and held together by love. It’s a place for the weary and the wounded. For those still in the valley and those just beginning to rise. For the ones who need to hear, “You are not alone.”

Here, I offer what I’ve learned and what I’m still learning. My story, my reflections, and my heart.
And most importantly, I offer hope—the kind that is anchored in a God who sees you, loves you, and longs to restore what has been broken.

Within this site, you’ll find blogs written to ground and soothe the soul, rooted in Scripture and filled with honesty and encouragement. These are words that have come from the trenches—words I pray will meet you where you are and gently guide you into the healing presence of God.

Because true healing doesn’t come from hiding the pain.
It begins when we feel safe enough to face it—and when we realize we don’t have to face it alone.

You are seen. You are safe. And you are deeply cherished by the One whose hands never let go.
I am honored to walk alongside you in love, faith, and hope.

With grace,
Ruth

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
—Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
